We now have available sheets of 45.2 spec padding designed for use in the manufacture of Seat Base support, rollcage helmet support and rollcage interior potection. This padding can be cut to shape and layered to give the desired thickness simply by using glue to adhere together and to fasten to an alloy or steel plate attached to your seat base.

If you look at the professional race teams, they will use a SFI 45.2 seat crash pad/ helmet support. You can recreate this  in your vehicle.
